Another case of leaked photos and have been circulating through online forums and blogs. This time round, it happens to Ms Jamie Ang, Singapore FHM 2012 winner. Her leaked photos was first seen on forums and recently have been circulating through syndicated blog post [Link Here] – these photos are not safe for work (NSFW). Here is her modelmayhem page.
Earlier we had Jenell Ong (Singapore FHM Top 15 Finalist) [Link Here] having her photos leaked in one of my recent blog post. I am wondering whether these leaks could be from a photographer losing his device or got his account hacked somewhere or probably these are just two separate cases. It was reported that Ms Jamie Ang has since taken down her Facebook Page and made a police report. A few sites also received email warnings to remove the photos from their blogs or forums and it seems to be working so far but for how long? A blogger using blogger.com got his post on Jamie Ang automatically removed [Link Here]. Once something is posted on the internet, it will be there forever, no matter how you try to stop. Its a wildfire, it will burn you to the ground till nothing left. In the first place, why do it? Secondly why didn’t these people take precautions of getting hack by just investing on basic protection of their device and data?! Stupidity at it’s best.
Well to our dear Ms Jamie Ang, i must understand your frustration or maybe shame. Maybe you should look into my suggestion of having your data better protected next time. This news will be circulating for a long time before it fades away for sure.

What Could Have Happened?
Something like this is not something new. Leaked photos and videos which could have been possibly stored in laptop or mobile devices which were either lost or stolen through intrusion / hacking. i am not surprise as matter of a fact because many of us spend little or no effort / cost in buying security applications such as antivirus, firewalls and anti-theft tools which most of it is available at a very affordable price. The free security applications are available but many of its features are not meant for full security solution (missing or time trial features). And cooking up a good set of free security tools may be daunting for those who are not tech savvy. Have a look at the list of full security suites that could save you from such major and disastrous outcome.
